Three High School Seniors Chosen for Full-Tuition Scholarships at Southwestern College

The fields of study that students were vying for were in accounting, nursing, and natural science.

The Fall competition for full-tuition scholarships has concluded and three winners have been chosen.  The fields of study that students were vying for were in accounting, nursing, and natural science. Each award is valued at approximately $170,000 over four years.

The winners are: Anna Price, Nursing Scholarship; Carson Loveland, Accounting Scholarship; and Kasidee Regouby, Mastin Natural Science Scholarship.

“At Southwestern College, we value strength of character and academic purpose,” says Stephannie DeLong, vice president for enrollment management at Southwestern. “That commitment has led us to offer five full-tuition awards each year for first-year students in Education, Performing Arts, Natural Science, Nursing, and Accounting. These awards support our 2028 Strategic Plan by expanding high-impact learning opportunities for our students.”

Applications are now open for the Education and Performing Arts full-tuition scholarship competitions through January 15.

This new scholarship initiative replaces the former Pillars and Moundbuilder Scholarships and is designed to support students pursuing degrees in high-demand academic areas.

All applicants will be considered for finalist status and invited to participate in an on-campus competition day. Each finalist who attends will receive a renewable $1,000 scholarship. From this group, five students will be selected to receive full-tuition scholarships based on their performance and qualifications.

Southwestern College encourages all qualified students to apply and take advantage of this transformative opportunity.
